Civilization VII Unveils Exciting 2025 Roadmap: New Leaders, Civilizations, and Free Updates Ahead!
As anticipation builds for the release of Civilization VII on February 11, players are eager to learn what the upcoming year holds. Firaxis has recently shared an exciting roadmap for 2025, providing insights into the new content that will be available throughout the year.
The initial update is scheduled to be released in March, introducing Ada Lovelace as a leader and adding Carthage and Great Britain as playable civilizations. Alongside these additions, participants can anticipate the arrival of four new Natural Wonders. Later in March, Simon Bolivar will make his debut as a leader, along with Bulgaria and Nepal joining the lineup of civilizations. These features will be part of the paid Crossroads of the World collection.
March will also bring two significant updates to the game, introducing the Natural Wonder Battle, along with the Bermuda Triangle Wonder, the Marvelous Mountains event, and Mount Everest as another Wonder. All of this material will be accessible for free to all players.
From April through September, players can anticipate the arrival of the paid Right to Rule collection, which will include two additional leaders, four new civilizations, and four more World Wonders. In addition to these paid features, free updates will introduce new events, challenges, and numerous quality-of-life improvements to enrich the gameplay experience.
