Minecraft is a bestselling indie sandbox game from a Swedish company Mojang AB, and its founder Markus Persson. It was released in 2009 as a beta version, and in 2011 as a PC Windows full game. Till 2019, Mojang has sold 176 million copies of the game. Over 112 million players play the game at least once in a month.
What Is It About?
Minecraft is a combination of two words: “mine” and “craft”. Basically, these two words explain the whole gameplay. Use your imagination to build the world from the very beginning. There are no rules, and all you have to do is follow your own desires.
How to play?
There are several modes in the game. Depending on what you choose, the gameplay changes. There are two active modes: survival and adventure, where you have to check your life indicators, avoid various dangers and evils mobs.
But if you choose one of the passive modes like a creative or spectator, you will be able to concentrate on constructing the world, with stable life indicators and without enemies. But still, all these modes have one thing in common – you have to build everything yourself.
Unique Graphics
Minecraft is so special because of numerous features. One of them is outstanding graphics. It is not the most beautiful, and not really detailed. However, this is a whole world build from blocks, and you can change it. It is like Legoland, but better, and you can touch everything you want.
Is it good?
Minecraft receives numerous awards and hundreds of positive reviews from critics. Many players believe it helps to develop imagination, improves concentration. Its colorful graphics fascinate even small children. The creative mode is safe for young age players. At any age, the game helps to distract you from your daily routine.
